 Erez Tatcher

   
   

 

Erez brings 20 years of experience in management, marketing and sales in the technological market, the last 13 years of which were as CEO. Erez earned a B.Sc. in Computer Science from the Technion and, after several years as a software engineer at Motorola, Israel, he returned to the Technion to complete his M.Sc. in Industrial Engineering and Business Administration. He then served as VP marketing and international business development in a company specializing in Middle Eastern markets. In his next position Erez acted as the CEO of a large educational organization in Israel with 5000+ students per year. Following this he became the CEO of InterBit, a software development company which engaged in project development, consulting and training in the international market, a position he held for 7 years, before joining AgileSparks.

Erez has extensive experience as a business consultant and coach and is a board member of several technological startups.

Erez is a Certified Scrum Master and a Certified Scrum Product Owner.

  Danny (Danko) Kovatch
     

Danko is a seasoned veteran in the IT industry. His first steps began in 1997 when he completed 5 years of service in the Israeli army in a special elite program, where he was group manager in a computer unit. Afterwards, Danko joined a startup by the name of EagleEye, a subsidiary company of New Dimension where he was in charge of several development groups .

In 2000, BMC purchased New Dimension and Eagle Eye became a business unit of BMC. In 2005, Danko was exposed to Scrum and from that date there was no looking back. Danko gained more and more knowledge and experience in Agile and specifically in Scrum and found himself lecturing and helping other companies to implement Scrum.

After leaving BMC, he served as VP R&D in several companies and when the demand for Scrum was too much to handle in parallel, he resigned all posts and became an independent consultant. After an intensive year in which Danko lectured and implemented Scrum in dozens of companies, he initiated AgileSparks.

Danko is a well recognized international speaker with unique ways of presenting Scrum to newcomers. He is a Certified Scrum Trainer (one of only 107 international trainers in the world). Danko is best known for his great enthusiasm for Scrum and his Scrum spark.

 
  Ronen Bar Nahor
   
 
 
Dr. Ronen Bar Nahor is a Senior Coach working with teams and executives, with vast experience in scaling Agile in complex systems and products from the team to the Enterprise/Portfolio/Product levels.

Before joining AgileSparks, Ronen had initiated and lead the Agile implementation at Amdocs Product Group (R&D), spanning 3 years with over 100 scrum teams in five countries. In addition, he developed and implemented the Product Development methodology and led the SQA group at the R&D division. These changes entailed complex change management processes (re-engineering of organizational structure, processes, tools and HR policies), which Ronen has lead with Amdocs' senior management.

Additionally, Ronen has extensive hands-on experience in managing software development groups and projects both in Canada and Israel.

Ronen holds a PhD in Organizational Behavior & Information systems from the Technion. He was a Senior Lecturer for many years at the Technion (Software Quality Assurance, system analysis and more) and was the Head of the Department of Computer Science and Information Systems at Emek Yezreel College.

Yuval Yeret
       

Yuval leads our Kanban/Flow practice. He has been in the technology management world since 1994. Yuval graduated top of class from the IDF Mamram Computer School and in the last 17 years held various management positions in IT and Product Development including several VP R&D positions, with a focus on the Networking and Storage worlds. 6 Years ago Yuval started using Lean/Agile thinking and practices to turn around technology organizations. On top of being our Kanban guru, Yuval is also a seasoned Scrum practitioner and CSM/CSP/CSPO. Yuval is a big believer in pragmatic best-of-breed solution design, taking the best from each approach, and not sticking to any particular Dogma. 

Inbar Oren
     
 

Inbar brings with him more than 15 years of experience in the Hi-Tech market, working in small and large companies, in a range of roles from development and architecture to working with customers as Project and Product Manager.

Since 2008, Inbar has been helping development organizations improve their results by adopting Agile and Lean practices. Inbar focuses on management in an Agile/Lean world, working with companies to build new processes and a new culture.  He has also earned the PMI-ACP certification.

Because of his background in Product Management, Inbar sees Agile/Lean not just as a development tool, and works with Product and Marketing departments to teach them how to use Agile/Lean tools to respond quicker and more effectively to the changing markets.

Inbar holds an MA in Buddhism and East Asian Cultures as well two second degree black belts in the martial arts of Iaido and Jodo. Inbar is currently studying for a PhD in East Asian mythology.

 

Yael Rabinowitz
 

 

Yael has been in the IS/IT world since 1994. Among other positions she led the certification of the Computer officers in the IDF's Center of Computing, building and conducting the advanced training program for the computer engineers. Afterwards, she continued educating software developers and computer engineers in various areas in John Bryce Training center. In 2000 she joined a startup by the name of Oblicore as a developer and in the next 9 years she served in a wide range of positions: Professional services project manager, Product manager and finally Release management.

In her role as product manager Yael first started working in the Agile spirit and as a Release Manager she took leadership promoting the Agile practices in order to improve R&D delivery capabilities.

 

Yael is a practicing Certified Scrum Master since 2008 and Certified Product Owner since 2009.

 

  Ofer Cohen
   

Ofer is senior coach working and mentoring teams, mangers and large scale Agile implementations. Ofer has 25 years of experience in software development and more than 10 years as a senior manager/VP R&D. 

Ofer has deep understanding of R&D and QA processes and is directly involved in activities of defining customer requirements, system architecture, project management of large scale systems and enterprise products. Before joining AgileSparks Ofer worked as Head of R&D at SunGard and as R&D Director at BMC Software managing directly over 60 developers in multiple sites. In 2005 Ofer was the first to implement Scrum at BMC software Israel in a large scale project (8 teams working in 3 different locations). The challenge was huge and Ofer together with his team lead the change and the agile thinking in his Business Unit. From a stall condition in the project it was turned into delivering working software in short iterations and achieving project milestones.

Prior to that, Ofer have worked for many years in multiple positions as Manager, Team leader and developer of UI and servers side applications. 

  Shirly Ronen
        

Shirly has been part of the IT industry since 1999, working in large and small organization specializing in building and refining testing and quality groups. Shirly served as quality director in several organizations, among them 888holdings and Kontera .ltd and has strong quality and testing background.

Because of her quality background, Shirly finds the agile as a strong and valuable tool to increase customers' value and quality and in the last 3 years she practices the agile and lean methods as part of a quality organization. Beyond a strong testing and quality background, Shirly has a specific interest in the human factor inside the organization and a strong belief that individual's and group's agile coaching increases quality and customer value. Shirly holds a BSW degree from the University of Tel-Aviv and has several years of experience in the field of family therapy around acute and ongoing crisis. In her spare time, Shirly enjoys coaching families and individuals into the agile and lean world. 

 

 

  Ben Reich 
     

Ben has served in various leadership roles in hig-tech organizations for nearly 25 years. He started out consulting for large R&D organizations and has successfully built several enterprise software products as VP of R&D, COO and VP products.

In recent years Ben has specialized in the development, operations and marketing of large web sites and e-commerce platforms. During all this time many cycles were spent on providing predictability and effiency in managing company resources.

In recent years Ben has been using lean methodologies to run his execution team. During that time Ben specialized in connecting lean processes to ROI and key performance indicators. Playing the role of Agile champion in each of these organizations he specialized in tying agile processes to the company's executive stakeholders and its top management.

Ben has implemented Scrum and other agile processes into each of his development organizations and spent much time linking the Scrum practices into the overall company processes through Kanban. Ben holds a Bsc. in Physics and Computer Science but his passion lies in History, archaelogy and very ancient languages.

 

  Dror Zernik
   

Dr. Zernik holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the Hebrew University, where he specialized in distributed systems. Dr. Zernik has conceived, originated and implemented several research directions to final products, as a researcher (IBM, Tandem) and as an entrepreneur.  He has over 20 years of experience in leading system projects in distributed and Internet-based environments.

Dr. Zernik was Co-Founder, of several start-up companies, in leading technical positions, managing the development teams. These companies have completed the product development, and are in various stages of market deployment, some of them were sold.

Throughout these years Dror has learned that the agile concepts work for him best; daily synchronization with periodic re-alignment, TDD and continuous integration were at the foundation of all the successful projects he was involved in. Since 2008, Dror has been coaching startups in both technological and management directions, often leading the Scrum-Kanban-agile processes.
